President Ilham Aliyev’s declaration of 2017 as the ‘Year of Islamic Solidarity’ in Azerbaijan, the restoration of mosques in the territories liberated from occupation, and the material and moral support given to believers all show our country’s attitude towards the religion of Islam.”

According to AZERTAC, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, made these remarks in an interview with Real TV.

“A beautiful mosque is being built in Shusha to mark Victory Day, and this too reflects the attitude towards religion,” he added.
