In recent years, the blood donation for medical needs in memory of the martyrs of Karbala, which has been initiated by the Caucasus Muslims Board during the Muharram period and has been appreciated by our people, is one of the most appropriate examples of mourning.
This year, too, on Ashura—July 5th—believers can continue the humanitarian tradition and donate blood with the intention of giving charity, thus giving life to thousands of sick people and children suffering from hereditary diseases for the sake of Imam Hussein (a).
