The Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, departs for Bahrain on February 18.
The CMB Chairman A. Pashazade will participate in the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference to be held in Manama on February 19 and 20 under the slogan "One Ummah, One Destiny," under the patronage of the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Based on the Intra-Islamic Dialogue initiative of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, and Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Ahmad Al-Tayyib, the conference will be co-organized by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (Bahrain), and the Muslim Council of Elders. The conference will be attended by renowned ulamas, Maraji' al-taqlid (sources of emulation), thinkers, and prominent figures of the Islamic religion from around the world. Sheikh-ul-Islam A. Pashazade will deliver a speech at the conference, which is held with the aim of dialogue in an atmosphere of mutual understanding for the sake of the Muslim world and the future of humanity as a whole. Within the framework of the visit, meetings between the CMB Chairman and officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain and other bilateral interactions are envisaged.
