The book-album "The Pinnacle of Brotherhood and Alliance," published in the Azerbaijani and Uzbek languages, was presented to the public of Uzbekistan on July 7.

The presentation ceremony, held in the hall of the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, was attended by representatives of the broader public and by Azerbaijanis living in the brotherly country. Adviser to the President of Uzbekistan Shuhrat Ganiyev, Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries Kahramon Sariyev, other officials and public representatives — including the head of the Azerbaijan Culture Center in Uzbekistan — delivered speeches discussing the merits of the presented book in detail. It was noted that this publication, created by Azerbaijan's religious leader in a spirit of special respect and deep gratitude toward the brotherly state and people of Uzbekistan, is an encyclopedic work that sheds light on the historical ties between the two brotherly states and covers the most recent historical period of their spiritual relations.

The book-album "The Pinnacle of Brotherhood and Alliance," authored by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, reflects the genuine brotherly relations between His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, and the contribution of interstate relations — which have risen to the pinnacle of alliance — to the development of our spiritual ties.

The book-album, which conveys the Azerbaijani President's supreme attention and care for the sacred values of Islam and the religious and spiritual heritage of our people, the author's pride and gratitude for his active defense of the ideas of Islamic solidarity on the international stage, and the Uzbek President's great reverence for lofty spiritual values and our Islamic heritage together with his exemplary work in this direction, consists of 216 pages and was exquisitely printed at the "Azerbaijan Publishing House."

The author's message in this publication — a gift to our brotherly peoples — is that only true leaders consistently promote and champion their people's traditional values at all times and on all levels, safeguarding their national and spiritual heritage and contributing to its recognition worldwide. His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan — who are successfully elevating the relations between the modern, independent states of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, whose foundations were laid by our National Leader Heydar Aliyev — are precisely such leaders of the highest caliber.

The book contains accounts of cordial meetings held in Azerbaijan and on Uzbek soil, speeches delivered by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, at events in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan across different periods, conference materials, letters and reports, and photographs.

The publication was overseen by Mufti Salman Musayev, First Deputy Chairman of the CMB, and compiled by Rahima Dadashova, Head of the CMB Press Service and Doctor of Philosophy in History.

Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade spoke at the ceremony presenting the book to the Uzbek public:

"Today is a spiritually precious and deeply significant day for me. Praise be to Allah, we have gathered at the presentation ceremony of a publication dedicated to the eternal bonds of brotherhood between my native Azerbaijan and my second homeland, Uzbekistan.

The progress and development of Uzbekistan — which I always recall with deep gratitude and reverence — fills me with boundless pride. If this land's renown as an ancient cradle of civilization and its standing as the shining cultural and spiritual star of the East are historical fact, then modern Uzbekistan's rise as the ascending Sun not only of Central Asia but of the entire Islamic world is the proud reality of today. As it is said in our Holy Book, the Qur'an:

'Let there be among you a community calling to good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong. It is they who shall attain salvation' (Al-Imran, 104).

Through the efforts of a leader capable of conducting statecraft with historical thinking, advanced political thought, and a profound national and universal outlook, modern Uzbekistan is living through the summit moments of its history — an era of political and spiritual Renaissance. The visionary and creator of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the heart of Central Asia — the author of the Third Renaissance era, His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev — declared his intent at the Center's groundbreaking ceremony in the blessed month of Ramadan in 2018: our goal is the profound teaching of Islam and the conveying of our ancestors' rich heritage to the people and to the international community. That a head of state places such high value on the lofty spiritual values of Islam is a brilliant manifestation of wise, far-sighted statesmanship. May Almighty Allah grant success to the deeds of the leader of Uzbekistan, who is doing unmatched work in the scholarly study and promotion of our sacred religion and making extraordinary efforts to introduce to the whole world such figures and values of Islamic civilization as Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, Imam Maturidi, and Naqshbandi!

Esteemed participants of the presentation! As someone who considers Uzbekistan his second Homeland, as a religious leader and Sheikh ul-Islam, one of the things of special significance to me is the summit Uzbekistan has reached in the spiritual sphere and in its treatment of religious values. In the 21st century, just as in centuries past, Uzbekistan demonstrates its capacity to lead vitally important work in the fields of Islamic enlightenment, learning, and wisdom. The legacy of Islamic thinkers is being promoted by His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev from the rostrum of the United Nations. In particular, through the valuable efforts of ICESCO, Uzbekistan and the unparalleled contributions it has bestowed upon the Islamic world are being presented to humanity with great reverence as a universal treasure.

Esteemed participants! Only true leaders consistently promote and champion their people's traditional values at all times and on all levels, safeguarding their national and spiritual heritage and contributing to its recognition worldwide. His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan are precisely such leaders of the highest caliber. As a religious leader and Sheikh ul-Islam, I have always held in the highest regard the importance and attention that the esteemed heads of state of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan devote to traditional national and spiritual values and to historical heritage. His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan and His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan are breathing new life into centuries-old shared and venerable traditions, securing the future successes of the two brotherly peoples, now drawn even closer through the bonds of Alliance.

The spiritual ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are so deep and multifaceted that they could not be contained in volumes of books and scholarly research. The book-album 'The Pinnacle of Brotherhood and Alliance,' presented to the attention of the esteemed Uzbek public, aims to reflect the development of cultural, spiritual, and religious ties in the most recent chapter of the history of the two brotherly peoples and allied states — an era in which their relations have risen to the pinnacle of political alliance thanks to the efforts and wise steps of their powerful state leaders. Published in two languages — Azerbaijani and Uzbek — the book also includes speeches delivered at events in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan across different periods, conference materials, letters, and reports. We express our deep gratitude to the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and its director, the esteemed Dr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov; to Muzaffar Kamilov, Head of the Department for Religious and Educational Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; and to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan for their unfailing assistance in bringing this book to life.

Praise be to Allah, the wise path whose foundations were laid in independent Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan relations during the era of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is being continued and developed today. I am confident that as long as the Islamic world and world politics have such wise political leaders as His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, the Muslim world and our Ummah will achieve ever greater successes, insha'Allah!"
