The peoples of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States demonstrate true examples of brotherhood by standing together in good times and in difficult moments. During the 44-day Patriotic War for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, we witnessed the comprehensive support of the Republic of Türkiye. The Turkic states spared no effort in their assistance to us in breathing new life into our territories that had suffered from vandalism, and in the reconstruction works during our Great Return to liberated Karabakh.
As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, during his address at the 7th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Administrations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
"The buildings constructed in Fuzuli and Aghdam by the fraternal countries that have always stood by our side — the Mirza Ulugbek Secondary School, a gift from Uzbekistan; the Kurmangazy Children's Creative Centre, a gift from Kazakhstan; the Aykol Manas Secondary School, a gift from Kyrgyzstan; and the magnificent mosque building constructed by Turkmenistan — are true brotherly gifts of immense spiritual value. It is a matter of great pride that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Ilham Aliyev personally attended the opening of the neighbourhood built by Azerbaijan in the earthquake-affected Kahramanmaraş region of Türkiye, and that the leaders of our fraternal Turkic states personally participated in the openings of the venues in Karabakh," he stated.
The Chairman of the CMB also noted that the next, 8th Meeting will be held in Türkiye.
