Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, participated in the funeral ceremony of His Holiness Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II as part of the Azerbaijani delegation led by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova.
Speaking at the commemorative gathering organized after the farewell ceremony, the Chairman of the CMB conveyed the deep sorrow and respect of the Muslims of the Caucasus and the religious people of Azerbaijan to the Georgian people and the Georgian Orthodox Church.
